Well, I believe it now, it is exactly what other people have said this product is totally worth the investment. It is easy to assemble it heats up quickly, it is truly smokeless when the fan is on. There is one video that shows that the fan is extremely loud, I don’t know what that is about because the fan we have is extremely quiet as you can see in my video. We have recommended this to as many people as we can so far even though we have just gotten it is posting all over my social media sites. The food came out absolutely perfect and cooked so much quicker than our last product which did not last long. So in the long run believe in the videos, actually believe what you read in the reviews,They are real there are people out here that do believe in the products on Amazon and this one here gets 1 million stars for me definitely worth it give it a shot please if you purchase leave a video to share your experience, also cleaning is easy and temperature controls are Dialed right in and are perfect

Very good smoke control; the water trap helps reduce the smoke generated to a minimum and the fan removes whatever smoke there is. However, the fan is a little bit noisy. Grills well for products requiring lower heat (my favorite approach to grilling). However, the grill does not get hot enough for grilling thin cuts of meat (for example skirt steak). After use, the water trap and non-stick coating makes the clean up a breeze. I’m very happy with the Techwood grill.

I was skeptical but it really is terrific. No smoke, nice grill marks, gets plenty hot quickly. I cooked baby back ribs in the crock pot this weekend and basted/finished them on this grill. They looked wonderful (great grill marks) and tasted amazing, with that bit of char. You would never know they were cooked indoors. We did have an issue with a piece of the frame melting. I sent a pic to the vendor and they replaced it immediately. We are extremely happy with the purchase.

Also, I’m anxious to try cooking beef on the grill, to see how if smoke is present and how long it takes as compared to the chicken, which needed to be well cooked so took a bit longer.

I need to update my review. The fan has stopped working which makes this a much less desirable purchase. I’m very disappointed as the fan is a huge part of what makes this a great product. Of course, there is no way to contact the seller to find out if there is something I can try to do to fix my grill. I am very happy with this grill.

I have cooked beef burgers on this grill and they came out great, the fat collection system works very well, and the cleaning routine is straightforward. Chicken and peppers also cook perfectly, with much less mess than beef burgers. Using this product is so easy that it would be great for kids to learn to cook on. A benefit of buying this model over others is the included glass lid – this component prevents fat from spitting all over your surfaces and clothing. I recommend following the seasoning instructions for the actual cooktop/grill section closely, you NEED to do this step otherwise your grill will not perform at its best. There are reviewers here that clearly failed to follow instructions and as a result have left bad reviews, which are not true to the product’s genuine performance. The only cons I would like to see remedied in a future model would be a longer power cable and a higher temperature. I don’t believe the markings on the control panel are true to temperature at all, but this is merely a preference; it does absolutely get hot enough to cook food all the way through.
